Health Challenges

With growing population and an increase in life expectancy, ageing-related diseases such as cancer and the emerging antibiotic resistance problem put a burden on healthcare systems and societies around the globe. Social changes, industrial development and environmental risk factors also have an impact on these questions. The Aging, Cancer and Antibiotic Resistance working groups seek to tackle these issues.
