Societal Challenges

Chile and Sweden, share a migration historical patterns. Chilean migration to Sweden starting in the early 1970s has developed to transnational mobility involving a new generation of migrants.The transnational landscape made up by the large Chilean community in Sweden and their partial return to Chile are the backdrop for the groups in this cluster. These groups will work on contemporary migration, urban inequality, shared heritage and culture, art language and politics in respect to sustainability.
